Marc's Photos
Pinhole Project
In this project I took multiple photos using a simple pinhole camera. This gallery contains three different images. These three image types are Color, Tone, and Vinette. Enjoy!
Colored Pinhole Photo
In this photo I used Adobe Photoshop and used the brush tool along with the spot healing tool to create a bright contrast between objects in the photo. I experimented with different brushes to create a bright yet see through red filler for the jacket. I then went on to use a brush that's odd shape created a rain effect in the background of the photo. I also made the rain see through to prevent the rain from stealing the show from the jacket. I used the spot healing tool to add finishing touches to the background to make a cleaner image. I really like how this photo turned out because of the contrast between the jacket and the darker background.

Vinette Pinhole Photo
In my Vinette photo I really focused on highlighting my object. My object being me. I used lasso tool in photoshop to highlight my figure and then darken the background around the figure. It took a bit of tinkering, but I think I found the perfect darkness to light ratio. I am really happy with how this image turned out.

Tone Pinhole Photo
In this photo I really wanted to highlight the background of my previous photo. I darkened the figure using the inverse and curves tools in photoshop to create a really cool shadow effect. I then went on to use the spot tool and brush to lighten up the background and make it pop. I am really happy with how this image turned out.
